Hi, I’m Joe. I’m an Beaver Scout leader with 1st Bromsgrove
My scouting career started well before I was a Beaver. I would help set up camps from a young age. I joined beavers as soon as I turned 6. As I’ve grown older I have progressed through all the sections along the way. I am now a Beaver Scout Leader with 1st Bromsgrove.
I am the Founder of Tent Talks and also the Host of the Podcast.

Hi, I’m Philip. I’m a Cub Scout leader
My scouting career started well before I was a Beaver; my whole family was part of the Scouting Movement so they have experienced and helped me through the journey of Scouting. As soon as I turned 6, I joined beavers, I have progressed through all the sections and am now a full adult leader and also become more confident in everything.
Within Tent Talks I am part of the Admin Team where I help Joe mainly with social media
About Tent Talks
Tent Talks was founded in 2020, the podcast being my Skill for my DofE Silver. After completing my DofE I enjoyed what I had started so continued from there. The podcast now reaches a small but international audience, however I am still only just starting out. As the podcast grew, I developed a website, social media and more.
What do we do?
Tent talks is a place to share scouting stories, from a fun game you played on camp to a world scale fundraiser, the podcast aims to share achievements big and small as well as reporting footage and interviews from events such as Gilwell Reunion.
